Week 10 - Thing 24 - Summary

I'm not sure if I will ever use some of the sites that I went into but I at least know what is out there.

Week 10 - Thing 21 - Podcasts, Video, etc.

I looked up a few music Youtubes. I looked up my neighbours' music video, although I didn't enjoy watching her sing, it was great to know she made this video and put in on YouTube for people to watch.

Week 5 - Thing #10 - RSS feeds

I subscribed to the WPL blog and found this interesting.

week 7 - Thing 15 - Tagging, Folksonomies and Technorati

This is again a very interesting site to have on a computer used by one or more people to share. If everyone adds to these bookmarks they can become very useful for all.

Week 9 - Thing #19 - Wikis

Now I found is site to be very useful for alot of information. It is handy to use in the library especially if you need a birth/death date for a certain person. I have used this tool before and found it most helpful.

Week 6 - Things 12 & 14 - Twitter and Image Generator

I made a LegoMan out of this site. Having opened a twitter account, I don't think I will use it much, but it will be the next up and coming thing.

Week 3 - Things 6 & 8 Flicker and Technology

I already had a Yahoo account so I didn't need a Flicker one. I looked at a few websites and found them very interesting.

Technology is forever changing. It's sometimes hard to keep up-to-date with all the changes and with the technologies today, there's always something new out there. New phones, iPods, computers, cameras, etc. I look forward to one day when I can keep what I've got without it being obsolete. i.e. phones, computers, etc.
